We're Ashley and Shannon, the duo behind House of Foils.

Ashley was a booth-rent stylist, six years deep behind the chair. Shannon owned the hair salon where Ashley worked.

During their regular appointment, Ashley was coloring Shannon’s hair when the foils kept slipping, ripping, and slowing her down.

That moment sparked a conversation between us. The commission stylists at the salon were running into the same issues, losing time, fighting with their foils, and feeling frustrated.

Not to mention the current designs felt outdated, corporate, and far from cute.

We stopped and asked:

“Why hasn’t someone made this better?”

House of Foils was born at that moment. Two women who knew what it felt like to struggle in the salon trenches and believed they could be apart of the solution.

We spent years dialing in the perfect formula: serious grip, perfect weight, durable material, and our signature orange peel texture. Hair Foils that finally feel as good as they look.
